This is an excellent report. Note that income remaining for 2019 of $24,562.73 is very close to our income remaining from the Boston Conference. Management fee = $23,947 + $1,140 from promo credits = $25,087.

Several more are probably going to be removed because of non-payment and not returning communications. Membership is declining. Rev. Tony believes since we have had to work so much on promoting the Los Angeles Conference promotion of membership had to take a step back. There are a few new prospects.
The question was raised if it possible for us to promote CMC Membership at the LA Conference? Rev. Tony and Rev. Kelly will discuss further and report back to the Board.

Classes at CMC office have increased. People have embraced the new location. There have been some who are from the local Marina district who are now attending classes at the 3006 Buchanan St. location.
ACIM-2 Ministerial Projects
Margarita Marinkovich – Done with program and ready to be ordained.
Deb Canja - New "Teacher Certification" program. Deb has done a lot of work on the project. Tony will report. Expected launch is now March 1. Looking for a continuous cohort of 6 to 8 to go through the entire program together. She is now ready to be ordained.
New ––> Sally Gray - Wants to explore a "branch" of CMC in Australia.
David Brunn – On San Francisco Sunday Service Committee / AV Team

Anthony Bopp - Posts regularly in Healing Team Group
Paula Carpe – Would like to lead a Tue. 10 a.m. ACOL class. Would like the 50/50 monetary split.
Discussion: It is a project and she shouldn’t be paid. Others said that we should allow her to do it and it broadens our reach.
Brian Patacca - Will develop content or traffic for our Facebook Business page.
Motion: Paula Carpe would be paid for teaching the ACOL Tuesday 10 am class and it could count as her ACIM-2 project. 4 in favor 3 against - Motion passes.
Sunday Gathering Report:
Average attendance since last Board meeting (11.24.19 to 02.19.20 - 9 Gatherings) was 12.30, an increase over last report. This is good. Sunday committee is strong. Garrick has been inconsistent in attendance since he moved and started school again.
We are still having AV problems. As soon as one problem gets solved others begin. Current problem appears to be the network or possible the Verizon Hot-Spot device. We are working on it.
Rev. Tony and Rev. Kelly have come up with a dog policy for the Sunday Gathering. Dogs are welcome but they must be leased or tethered while in the meeting space. They also must be under the control of their owners at all times without excessive barking or aggressive behavior. There was in incident at the Christmas Service. Rev. Tony has already communicated new policy to Rev. Roxie and Garrick but we must officially approve it.
Discussion: The CMC board agreed that the animals should be leased, tethered and under voice control. Rev. Kelly will formalize the policy.
OLD BUSINESS
CMC Publishing Inclusive Language Version of ACIM (The Original Edition)
No progress on the project since last meeting.
New Teacher Certification Program using Circle of Atonement Book
Rev. Tony reported current state of the program. There has been considerable progress.
There was a handout provided that included pictures to further illustrate the ACIM Masterclass using Circle of Atonement edition. The program would cost about $1997.00 a year for approximately 3 years. The students would be in a stable cohort. This means that they would start and end at the same time over a 2 to 3 year period. Students could not enter the class once it has been initiated.
Staff Situation
David Brunn has been working regularly about 8 to 12 hours a week. He continues to learn things and is proving very helpful. Training ihas challenges but it is positive. The staff situation is much better than it was for much of 2019. David is great and always on time, reliable, and he is fun for Rev. Tony to work with. Rev. Tony is more focused when David is in the office and enjoys having the companionship.
Rev. Tony's salary in now $1400/month and we said we would continue a discussion about this. It went up Jan. 2019 from $1000 to $1400/month. Last year Rev. Kelly received $21,250 and Rev. Tony received $16,400. This year may not be as good financially because the Los Angeles Conference is not selling like the Boston Conference did, so our management fee may be considerably less. Yet, 3 years solidly in the black is significant and should be considered an amazing achievement given that we had to leave 2269 Market St. for financial reasons three years ago.
There was a discussion about Rev. Tony’s Salary. It was suggested that he be granted a $200 monthly increase based on our sound finances and the increase in our equity.
Motion: Rev. Tony’s salary is to be increased to $1,600.00 a month. Unanimous
NEW BUSINESS
2020 Conference In Los Angeles
Currently 333 tickets bought or accounted for: (up 34 since last meeting)
258 assigned tickets (up 59 since last meeting)
75 still unassigned block tickets (down 28 since last meeting)
Ticket sales have picked up since last meeting and this is in part because of a large promotion effort by Rev. Kelly and Rev. Tony. Rev. Tony feels ticket sales is "okay" at this point, but not really "good" yet. He thinks we are right at the point where we will meet our sleeping room contract minimum, but any increase would be good and give us more of a cushion.
A situation has arisen with individuals asking for "scholarship" tickets. This started with Ted Poppe who is an ACIM notable. There have always been a few of these provided by other Presenters who had extra tickets towards the end that they didn't want to waste. We could formalize this procedure and gain a large public relations benefit for doing so. Rev. Tony will give a report. There is considerable information that we need to consider. Rev. Tony suggests a simple application form which he has already done some initial work on.
Motion: The CMC will create a Scholarship Conference attendees that cannot afford the Conference Fee with Rev. Kelly and Rev Tony developing the application procedure. Unanimous.
2021 ACIM Conference
Rev. Kelly had called the theme committee to begin the process of getting a theme for the 2021 Washington Conference.
Rev. Tony and Rev. Kelly will visit the Washington Marriott Wardman Park in mid-March 2020. (Since postponed.)
Conference dates May 27, 28, 29, 30, 2021 (Thu.- Sun. Memorial Day Weekend 2021)
Rev. Tony believes that we have a better deal for the Washington Conference including $40.00 less per night per room.
