Supporting Member Report
Currently 110 Supporting Members — $5,731.66 / month pledged, average $55.74 / member. Net increase of 9 Supporting Members and decrease of $30/month.
We took a one time drop of $400 a month because we have been carrying a $200 pledge EACH ($400 total) for DavidPaul and Candace Doyle since they gave a one time $10,000 donation after the New York City Conference. That carried them with $200 "extra" each for 25 months. That time is over now. If that was still in the tally the increase would have been $370/month. Realize we actually haven't gotten that money since spring of 2015.
Gained 15: Regina Green, Tris Roost, Tracey Holland, Benjamin Onelove, Cheryl Wenzel, Deb Marlin, Rev. Barbara Adams, Rev. Iolanda Salte, Lydia Huston, Tameer Siddiqui, Vicki Poppe, Jeannie Weston, Julie Phineas, Judy Kelley, Donald Jones
Lost 6: Rev. Alicia Albahae, Rev. Sharon Gustafson, Sandra Schotland, Rev. Karen Aiken, Rev. Myke Marinkovich, James Wordeman
A couple of Supporting Members are tentative at the moment (they are behind payments and we have been trying to communicate) and thus we may loose a couple more soon.
New Healing Team has been very successful in getting new Supporting Members and inspiring current Supporting Members. Hopefully our retention of long term Supporting Members will increase. Several previous Supporting Members who switched to The Healing Team have increased their pledges. Currently 32 on the Healing Team and 14 are brand new members. It was acknowledged that Rev. Tony was doing a great job with this.

Sunday Gathering at 875 Post
Things going okay. Rev. Tony & Rev. Kelly would still like more support. Attendance has been irregular.
Average attendance is 11 since last Board Meeting (12 Sunday Gatherings)
1353 Bush possibility for Sunday Gatherings before Music City is ready was discussed.. Rev. Tony reported that his considerations were that it is very noisy if musicians were rehearsing. We would need to black out music rehearsals during Sunday Gathering time 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Plus Rev. Tony feels that being in a dark basement, with no windows, down a long narrow corridor, would not be good. Rev. Rudy talked about how the technology would be state of the art with video and audio and that this would facilitate musicians and tech people to get involved. Rev. Rudy talked about all the musicians (frequently younger people) who would be in the space weekly and might get interested in what was happening. Rev. Rudy wants to have a time when he can show us the facility fully lit and functioning. We will try to arrange time when as many Board Members as possible can see the room fully lit and set up.
There was a discussion about the music currently at Sunday Gathering. Rev. Tony reminded the Board that he was put in charge of the Sunday Service earlier in the year at the 164th meeting (January 22, 2017) since the situation was new and rapidly changing and he needed to make quick decisions. Rev. Tony is therefore in charge of the music and he works with Rev. Kelly in finding popular songs to sing with Kareoki music.
OLD BUSINESS
New CMC Board Members
We need to have between 7 to 15 Board Members and are supposed to have an odd number. Currently 8. Discussion about several prospects. Rev. Lucas Sanchez, Rev. Mary Haun, Julie Vance, & Robert Rosenthal. Keep on Agenda.
NEW BUSINESS
2018 Conference
245 tickets sold or people otherwise enrolled
7 Staff
26 Presenters
212 Sold Tickets
We have sold more tickets however several people have dropped out or blocks were reduced, so the numbers are just about the same. Hotel offered limited time discount to help promotion. That’s how we got some of the new ones.
Holiday Inn has offered us a new contract (addendum) which cuts our obligations in half -- both guest rooms and food and beverage minimum. We are very grateful.
Address Issue with 3006 Office
We have gotten all the things that we needed to function at the office space at 3006 Buchanan, Unit 1, San Francisco, CA, 94123:
* San Francisco Business License
* SFMTA Residential Parking Permit (on Rev. Kelly's car)
* Resale License from State Board of Equalization
* Functioning mailbox with mail deliver. (At least most of the time) We are keeping the PO Box for now as well, since if we are moving it may be useful.
These achievements coupled with the fact that we should only be in the space "temporarily" led to consensus not to pursue office renovation and upgrade at this time.
ACIM Gather
Our partnership continues. These are the current programs directly run by CMC Supporting Members.

Phone Ordination 07.29.2017
We ordained 6 new CMC Ministers:

#105 Rev. Peggy Griffith
#106 Rev. Judi Kirkland
#107 Rev. Myke Marinkovich
#108 Rev. Alex Melgarejo
#109 Rev. Susan Nakashima
Rev. Kelly May Be Leaving San Francisco and the Job
Rev. Kelly says there is a "good chance" she will be leaving the Assistant Minister job and San Francisco after the Conference around the end of March 2018. There was a discussion about looking for a new Assistant Minister and the possibility of Rev. Kelly doing some work from whatever location she might be at. Discussion tabled.
Board Retreat 11.10.2017 - 11.11.2017
The Board retreat has been booked for Sebastopol Inn in downtown Sebastopol. Nice accommodations. Close to good restaurants and cafes. CMC reserved 4 large rooms with 2 double beds each. The CMC will cover the cost of these 4 rooms and proposes that people double up. Proposed accommodations:
Rev. Tony & Rev. Dusa Althea,
Rev. Peter & Rev. Vincent,
Rev. Rudy & Rev. Tedosio,
Rev. Roxie & Rev. Kelly.
Rev. Tedosio and Rev. Rudy decided they wanted single rooms and will pay the difference for an extra room being reserved.
We should make some plans for this retreat's Agenda. A discussion about our current Mission Statement was held:
"The Community Miracles Center is a worldwide community for anyone who is interested in the spiritual teaching A Course in Miracles. We are on the 'Great Crusade' in learning how to forgive the world that we are in. We do that by LISTENING to guidance from Holy Spirit or our Higher Power, LEARNING about true cause and effect, and actively DOING things to shift the errors in perception. Our mission is to transform the world we see into a reflection of Heaven and manifest the "Real World." We do this locally, nationally, and internationally."
Ordination at 2018 Conference
If possible we should schedule an Ordination at the 2018 Conference. Julie Vance & Sue Riley may be eligible and they are both coming. Not likely they will come back to San Francisco afterwards. David Murdock would also be very close to graduating. Could be good publicity for CMC but would mean having an Ordination in the middle of the Conference. It was decided that we should do it if at all possible.
Meeting Adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
Next Meeting
Would be Sunday Nov. 26, 2017. That is Thanksgiving weekend and not a good time. Since we will have had the CMC Board “Retreat” on Nov. 10& 11 perhaps we do not need the Nov. regular meeting.
Respectfully submitted: Rev. Tony Ponticello acting Secretary
