Net loss of 3 Supporting Members
Net loss of $197.34/month
Gained 3: Lisbett Christensen, Susan Nakashima, Judi Kirkland
Lost 6: Charles Owen Baldwin, Mariah Brooks, Nora Jones, Nancy Giacalone, Candace Rasmussen, Jordan Donovan

Some of this is because Rev. Kelly and Rev. Tony finally were able to “scrub” the list and check 2015 payments. Several of the above had not been paying for some time. Calls were made and some left the roles.

OLD BUSINESS:

Renegotiating Contract With Rio:
Contract was renegotiated with The Rio. We received a 35% reduction in our room block from 1400 rooms to 914. We will be responsible for 80% or 731 rooms. We received a reduction in our catering guarantee from $85,000 to $76,000. Rev. Tony again wants to thank Rev. Rudy for beginning the renegotiation with The Rio.

NEW BUSINESS:

Ordination Planned:
We are planning a large in-person Ordination for Sun. Apr. 24, 2016. Many are traveling from other parts of the country to be here. Rev. Tony will need 10 local minister to participate.

Associate Ministers:
Rev. Tony has gone through the list of Associate Ministers. He eliminated some. He talked to two and received commitments for continued participation. We currently have 24 Associate Ministers. List is on our Web Site.

Enrollment for 2016 CYM,CTW Has Increased:
Current enrollment is 464 confirmed names. There are still a few empty block spaces. Total with those is 481. Rev. Tony predicts ~440 in The Rio for the Conference. This will make it one of the most attended Conferences we have had. We should have no trouble meeting our room guarantee and catering guarantee

2018 Conference Planning:
Rev. Tony is still negotiating with Ru Paster of the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway in San Francisco and hopes to have a contract within a week. The theme will be “Love Makes No Exceptions.” Price for meals is high. $252 / person with an automatic $57.96 gratuity. Total for meals will be $309.96 / person. Rev. Tony is still in negotiation so these figures might change. For Las Vegas the cost will be $193 for the meals with an automatic $44.39 gratuity. Total will be $237.39 / person. Conference meals in 2018 might be $72.57 more / person than they were in Las Vegas.

Rev. Tony believes our entry level price of $399 for Las Vegas was too low, and because of the purchase of large ticket blocks by Presenters we sold way too many tickets at that price. We sold 316 tickets at the entry level price of $399. Discussion was held about what our policy should be for blocks and what our price structure should be.

Motion: Presenters may buy blocks of tickets, up to a maximum of 20 tickets, for initial discount price of $499. Individuals may buy 2 tickets maximum for the discount price of $499. Immediately after the end of the Las Vegas Conference tickets will be $549. Presenters may buy subsequent blocks of tickets after an initial block, but they must pay the higher prices. Unanimous

Rev. Rudy believes we should form an LLC (Limited Liability Corporation) to legally run the Conferences. There was some confusion about how this would work and Rev. Rudy said he has a lawyer we could talk to.

Class Report:
Classes continue. There are currently 14 students in ACIM-1 and 14 students in ACIM-2. Rev. Tony has been compiling his list of ACIM-2 students and their projects, but it is not complete yet. The oversight of ACIM-2 projects is much better, but more needs to be done.

Rev. Kelly as Assistant Minister:
Rev. Kelly completed her 90 day probationary period. Rev. Tony had an employee evaluation with her. He updated the 25 question form we used with Rev. Heather. Rev. Tony and Rev. Kelly both filled out the same form and then reviewed their answers to the forms. The answers consisted of choosing a rating between 1 to 5 and then adding comments. The results of the evaluation were discussed and Rev. Kelly is successfully out of her probation period.

Discussion about the Term “Jeshua’s Trilogy":
Rev. Judy initiated a discussion about Rev. Roxie using the term “Jeshua’s Trilogy” when referring to: A Course In Miracles, The Way of Mastery, and A Course Of Love. There was concern that this implied these were the only three books channeled by Jesus and there are actually many more. There was discussion about does what a CMC Minister say represent the views of the CMC, or strictly their own. Rev. Roxie said that she heard the discussion and would ask for guidance, but that she would have to say and teach what she was guided to regardless.

Rev. Roxie Would Like to Create a Video Product of her Workshop:
Rev. Roxie would like to have her Pre-conference workshop videoed so that a commercial DVD could be created. The proceeds from the sale would be split between her and the CMC. Rev. Roxie would need to use the CMC video camera and tripod. Since the rest of the Conference Staff will be busy at that time, someone else would have to operate the camera. It was decided that if a commercial  product was to be created, that it would have to be Rev. Roxie’s project and it would not be produced by the CMC. The CMC would be willing to put up a free YouTube video of her Presentation. Rev. Roxie believes she wants to do a commercial product.

Meeting adjourned at 2:15 p.m.

Our next meeting, the 160th, is scheduled for May 22, 2016 at 12:45 p.m.
(Later changed to May 15 because of David Hoffmeister special event on May 22.)

Respectfully submitted by Rev. Tony Ponticello acting Secretary.
